“The Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart.” (Deut. 8:2)

God’s guidance of the Israelites through the wilderness for forty years held profound significance. It served as a transformative journey, a crucible of humility and testing designed to reveal the depths of their hearts. God led the nation of Israel out of Egypt for the purpose of taking them to the promised land, but before they could enter the promises, He had to get Egypt out of Israel first. He does the same thing with us today. He will often orchestrate seasons of trial and refinement, where we have to trust and lean on Him as He delivers us from the seductions and lusts of our culture. These trials, though challenging, serve as essential preparations for fulfilling our destinies, shaping us into vessels capable of embracing our calling with steadfast faith and integrity.
In this course we will dive into the books of Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, seeing how God raises up a priestly people, but brings them through the process of exposing the false idols within and calling us to love God with our whole lives.
