The Holy Spirit is bringing the Church to a new place of prayer that we haven't seen in this generation. This kind of praying is prayer on the other side of words and is wrought in a people who have been delivered from their own strength, wisdom, and resource. This kind of praying is ugly, desperate, and vulnerable as God delivers us from our programs, personalities, and strategies, and gifts us the greatest gift He could give: the Gift of Tears.
In this course, we will see how God leads us into this kind of prayer, how He uses the brokenness of our circumstances and the greatest pains of our lives to form in us the kind of intercession that ministers to His heart and redeems even the worst of situations.
One of the great needs in the Church today is for our hearts to become tender again. In an age marked by distraction, division, self-reliance, and hardness of heart, we are in need of a fresh tenderizing to sweep across the global Church so that we can reconnect with His heart and see His Kingdom released in the earth.
The Gift of Tears is God’s gift to us to make us tender again, so that our prayers, our words, and our lives can actually cut through the toxic, polarized culture we find ourselves in.

Hey, I’m Josh!
I’m excited to be walking through CRO Youth with you, alongside Corey Russell, taking you through our monthly Bible courses, and helping facilitate our live zooms and prayer meetings.
A couple of things about me are: first, I love Jesus with my whole heart. I got radically saved out of a lifestyle of drugs and partying about 10 years ago. I was struggling with suicidal thoughts in April of 2016 when my mom prayed for me and God met me in my lowest moment. I said, “God, if you can use my life for good, I’ll give you everything.” Since then, God has taken me at my word, and I’ve had the privilege of being a full-time missionary over the last 7 years. I’ve been a part of prayer rooms and youth outreaches across America.
I also just married my best friend, and beautiful wife, Emma in June 2026!
If I could sum up my burden for CRO Youth in one verse, it would be Ephesians 3:19, that you would “know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” I want to see our orphaned generation come into the knowledge of how loved and desired they really are, and then to see them equipped to simply live in response to that love all the days of their lives!
I’m looking forward to walking alongside you in CRO Youth and going deeper in the Bible, prayer and the love of Jesus together.
