The Book of Luke
Luke, known as “the beloved physician,” was a close companion of the Apostle Paul and the author of the most comprehensive of the four Gospels. His account offers a uniquely detailed portrait of Jesus’ life and ministry—highlighting miracles, teachings, and moments of compassion found nowhere else in Scripture.
In the Gospel of Luke, we encounter Jesus as the merciful Savior who brings healing, hope, and restoration to all. Luke’s narrative emphasizes the themes of compassion, prayer, the work of the Holy Spirit, and God’s heart for the lost. It is within this Gospel that we discover some of the most beloved parables and stories ever told—the Prodigal Son, the Good Samaritan, and the encounter on the Road to Emmaus.
Join me, along with guest speaker Bill Johnson, Senior Pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, California, and author of the international best-seller When Heaven Invades Earth, as we journey through the healing ministry of Jesus revealed in Luke’s Gospel. Together, we will explore how His miracles demonstrate the Father’s love, how the Holy Spirit empowers believers today, and how we can personally encounter the transforming presence of God in our own lives.
Come ready to be inspired, equipped, and renewed as we experience the living Word together and rediscover the power of Jesus’ compassion and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
Live Class Dates: Tuesday, November 4th, 11th and 18th at 6pm CST.
