For four hundred years, Israel waited in silence, longing for the Messiah who would come to fulfill the promises spoken to Abraham and David. At last, in the fullness of time, Jesus was born. In the Gospels of Matthew and Mark, we encounter Him as the long-awaited Son of Abraham—the One through whom all nations would be blessed—and the Son of David—the King who would reign forever on the throne.
These two Gospels unfold the breathtaking story of how God’s ancient promises find their fulfillment in Christ. Through His miracles, deliverances, healings, compassion, teachings, and ultimately His death and resurrection, Jesus demonstrates that He is not only the fulfillment of Israel’s hope but also the doorway into the kingdom of God for all people.
In this course, you will:
- Trace the unique perspectives of Matthew and Mark and how they each portray Jesus’ life and ministry.
- Understand the Old Testament promises that find their fulfillment in Christ.
- Explore the themes of the kingdom of God, discipleship, and the cost of following Jesus.
- Witness how His miracles, parables, and compassion reveal His heart for humanity.
- Discover how the same power that raised Christ from the dead is still at work today.
Join me, along with special guest Vlad Savchuk, as we journey through these two glorious Gospels and discover afresh that the same Messiah who fulfilled the promises then is still reigning and releasing His kingdom power today.
The Live Classes for this course will be October 7th, 14th and 21st at 6pm CST.

Hey, I’m Dawson
I will be walking through CRO Youth with you, alongside Corey Russell, taking you through our monthly Bible courses, and helping facilitate our live zooms and prayer meetings.
I’m a Bible teacher and preacher, and my biggest passion is seeing people—especially teens—come alive in prayer, fall in love with the Word of God, and experience the power of the Holy Spirit.
I spent a few years as a youth pastor at Radiant Church in Kansas City, where I got to hang out with students like you and travel around the country speaking at conferences. Now, my wife Lily and I live in Denver where I serve full-time with Nash School of Prayer.
I’m also studying Biblical Literature and being mentored by Corey Russell, which has been huge in shaping me as a preacher and messenger.
I have a passion to see teens rooted in local churches, built on prayer, shaped by the Bible, and alive in God’s power. That’s why I’m here—I want to see you encounter Jesus in a way that changes everything.
