The Book of Acts is the story of what happens when the risen Jesus, through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, breaks into human history with unstoppable power.

What begins in a quiet upper room with only 120 believers waiting in prayer becomes a movement that spreads across cities, cultures, and empires. Fishermen, tax collectors, women, former skeptics, and ordinary disciples become bold witnesses. Signs and wonders accompany the proclamation of the gospel. Persecution rises, yet the message continues to advance.

Acts is not merely a historical record—it is the unfolding of God’s plan to take the fame of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

In this course, we will walk through the first decades of the early church—from the upper room in Jerusalem to the far reaches of the Roman Empire—exploring the work of the Holy Spirit, the birth of apostolic mission, and the spread of the gospel among the nations.
